Bead Crochet Ropes

This may not be a technique to be mastered quickly, but who can resist colorful bead crochet rope bracelets? If you are determined to learn, give us a call. (There is prerequisite* for this class.)

Materials:

• Size 8 Seed beads in 3 different colors

• Gutermann top stitch thread in light color

Tools:

• 1 Susan Bates size 10 crochet needle

• 1 Big eye beading needle

• Scissors

Note: Beads needed to be pre-strung in the pattern of your choice before the first class (ask details when registering)

Date: Upon request for this 2-section class (1st section: 2 hours; 2nd section: 1 hour)

Prerequisite: Many of our students found it easier to learn this technique with previous crochet experience. If you have not been crocheting, we strongly recommend that you take a crochet class with your local knitting shops or ask us for a separate 30-minute preparation class to learn a few basics of crocheting.

Prep Class Date: To be scheduled individually with the instructor, allowing time to reach a comfortable level for crocheting chain stitches before taking the Bead Crochet Rope class.
